The P8R is the bee's knees. I replaced the thing in the Bugera BC-15 with the P8R and I am one happy camper.

Found a Champ for five bucks at a garage sale that was pretty beat up. I did a complete cap job, put in a JJ 6V6 and a Jensen P8R. This amp now sounds fantastic.

Picked up a White model 80 amp at a swapmeet, it had tubes in the wrong sockets and a junky no-name modern speaker. Didn't know quite what it was at the time, but figured anything made in Fullerton might have a Fender link. I replaced the filter caps (saving the old ones) and installed tubes from my NOS stash. The final touch was ordering a Jensen P8R speaker. It's a great-sounding amp for harp, lap steel, and my Oscar Schmidt electric dobro.
