The guitar player in my band uses 2 Blackbird 10's and it is so loud that I can not hear out of one ear.

I purchased four Mod 12-35's to replace the cheap Chinese drivers in an old cab I had. The Chinese speakers were great for bass guitar but were awful for electric guitar. These babies ROCK! Great bass response, nice chimy highs, not too much breakup with distortion. The lower SPL lets me run my amp at a higher output for more power tube saturation without being overly loud. They sound like greenbacks only better! The best thing is, they are light! My 50 year old back loves them, as do my 50 year old ears! Did I mention the price is right, too? I am now a Mod convert! Thanks, guys (and gals)!
I play in an eclectic punk band and I use two Electric Lightning with a Marshall 100 tube amp and it sounds killer most of the sound men think I am too loud but the rest of the band and the audience loves it! Thanks Jensen!
Groovy! Love my Jensens! Got the Mods..
Yes the Jensen 15" guitar speaker works great in my Fender Deluxe amp. I had to custom fit it but it sounds great.
I really like the MOD 10. I used it to replace a speaker in a Crate amp. It really changed the sound of the amp from harsh and brittle to a more warm, clear, more musical sound.
I did end up purchasing a MOD 6" for my small practice amp. It appears that Jensen is one of the few companies that makes a suitable speaker for my amp, a small Gretsch 5222! The speaker sounds great, and was a snap to install.
I purchased two 12" Jensen speakers for my vintage Fender Bassman Amp. They sound great! I have several Fender bassman amps that I have collected. My most prized bassman is a 1957 that belonged to Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers band. I am considering purchasing 4 10" Jensen speakers for it. He had replaced the originals with some odds and ends and used it for recording in his personal studio. By the way, your web site is excellent. I have used it many times to determine the correct speakers for amplifiers.
I bought four 8" MOD speakers for a 4x8” cab project I was working on. I’m really happy with the speakers. They were easy to install and sound really good paired with a Fender Pro Jr as the head. Congrats on a great product.
Yes the Jensen C10Q that I ordered from you guys is a great speaker. Plugged into my 5w tube head, it sounds full and the clarity is amazing. If your looking for clean a sounding speaker that is also sensitive to natural overdrive, get this speaker.
I totally rebuilt a '72 Fender Twin and added a little lower end to it by installing some C12K's. Mostly I play a new Benedetto Benny and/or a '71 Les Paul thru it, and it rocks the house. Even the other "players" in the audience have to comment on the great "tone" I get. I love it, and being in 4 groups I use it 3 - 5 times a week.

The Neo 15-150 was purchased last week. I installed it in a Peavey Delta Blues 115 replacing the stock Blue Marvel. Used it for three hours and - so far - I'm really enjoying the tones from this speaker. The stock speaker made the amp sound "boxy"... gave the amp a very country honk kind of sound. The Jensen Neo 15-150 gives the amp a smoother blues tone. Was very surprised how a simple speaker change out could alter the sound of an amp so dramatically.
I purchased a Mod 6/15 to upgrade my Fender Champ 600 - great tone improvement. I also purchased a new Fender Deluxe Reverb, one of the deciding features was the Jensen C12K.
I bought a 1959 Fender Re-issue 4x10 Bassman with Jensen speakers inside. It rocks. Great amps and great speakers.
I purchased two Mod 12-50 's, one Mod 10-35 , and one C10R . I have them in a birch, slant back cab with the two 12" diagonal to one another and the two 10" diagonal to each other . I love the dynamics of this combination of speakers when playing through a tube amp head. I think it sounds better with the EL-84 head than with the 6V6 head.
I love the Jensen Neo Series. I have a 15". It gives me a very heavy bass sound. I'd like to get an additional two, as I have 3 - 15" bass rigs.
A perfect replacement for my 1964 Univox U64 guitar amplifier.
Jensen is awesome.
I was able to use a MOD 10/35-8 instrument speaker as a suitable replacement for the blown device in my Peavey guitar amp. Since making this change/upgrade, I haven't been able to get my amp back from my eldest son as he enjoys the bright colorful sound generated via this excellent audio performer while attempting to replicate riffs from Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
